The Three Lakes Chain is part of the largest chain of inland freshwater lakes in the world. TLWA is dedicated to protecting and preserving these beautiful lakes that surround the town of Three Lakes, Wisconsin for their enjoyment today and for future generations. As members, we constitute the largest group of volunteers on the Chain who ‘volunteer’ to help finance the health of this precious resource. Beyond these ever-important financial contributions, our lake system reaps the benefits of hundreds of volunteers who perform thousands of hours of work annually.

Clean Boats – Clean Waters
The first line of defense for preventing Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) from entering our lakes.
Adopt-Your-Shoreline
Shoreline monitoring to discover new occurences of Invasive Species. More than one hundred volunteers invest +1,100 hours annually inspecting and reporting on the condition of our 109 miles of shoreline.
Lake Management Planning
Is the foundation for all TLWA initiatives. Studies of each lake’s aquatic ecosystems have been made by a professional limnologist, lake planning and management organization to determine overall health and whether any unique problems need to be addressed.
